Self Fulfilling Prophecy
Sorry to have post this late.. haha.. let's define self fulfilling prophecy; for example, if a person thinks we are clever they will treat us as if we are clever. If we are treated as if we are clever, we will act and even become a clever person. Thus the person had thier prophecy about us fulfilled.
We can take Anakin Skywalker as another example for self fulfilling prophecy. He is not treated to become the bad villian Darth Vader but due to his fear of losing his loved one, his own action has turn him into Darth Vader. He has the vision of losing his wife Padme, Afraid of losing her and due to wanting to save her so much, he joined the dark side with no doubt. Thus he had the self fulfilling prophecy as her wife die due to sadness of Anakin turning into a bad person.
Using it
To make a person act in certain way all you have to do is believe this when you interact with them. If you find it hard to make this jump, persuade others that the target person has desired attributes.
Defending
When people treat you as if u had certain attributes, decide whether this desirable or not. Question thier behavior if you do not wish to be pushed in this direction.
Please use self fulfilling prophecy for the sake of good. You may hurt others and if people tried to fulfill you as a negative person, always be positive while convincing others you are not.
Implicit Personality Theory
-general expectations that we build about a person after we know something of thier central traits. We may assume that intelligent people are arrogant, quiet people are timid and aggressive people are stupid.
Using it
Understand that the traits are implicitly linked with other traits which you want to be associated. Then display the traits and by inference, you will be assumed to have the other traits. For example, a person who is polite and attentive may well be assumed to be trustworthy also.
Don't assume a person too soon. Having one trait doesn't mean they do not have another that is linked.

Your explaination is clear and those examples are suitable for the terms. Well done:):):)
